The product didn't smell as good as I thought it would. Also after reading the fine print on it: may cause sexual dysfunction and contains illegal cancerous ingredients for the state of California, i didn't put that stuff on my head again.

My father has used this product for 30 years and now has problems with his nervous system and stomach. I am now caring for him and I discovered that these are long-term lead associated symptoms. He also smells extremely bad from the sulpher in the product. I have to soak his shirts for 24 hours before laundrying. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

I started using this product in early February and thought it was great. Heck I grew up in the 50s and 60s and lead was in everything so I figured that I would be just fine. I have long hair so I had to use a lot of this stuff. I really liked the way it made my hair look more natural but I did start to develop problems. For starters I did notice that it would turn my sterling silver earrings black and it was very difficult to get the black lead off the earrings and my necklaces would turn black even after I had washed my hair thoroughly and believed the residue of lead was gone. After a good month and more I noticed that I started to get sick. My immune system was suffering and so was I. I would get nauseated easily and just did not feel good.
