The first thing I noticed is the powder became a very sandy, gritty mixture, which made it more difficult to put in my hair. After rinsing it out 4 hours later, the color left the top 1-2 inches of the hair very orange, which looks a little weird against the deep natural-looking copper color of the rest of my hair (which I dyed with henna from a different retailer). But since I have so much of this henna now, I suppose I can try re-dyeing it with some modifications.
Overall, considering the sandiness of the powder and the poor dye uptake, I'd say this is a lower quality henna product.

I use this natural dry Henna powder mixed with water for my hair conditioner, as a rinse. It gives my hair a nice shine with a hint of Auburn red color. I add dry Henna to my favorite shampoo in a plastic container and shampoo with it every couple of weeks. It only takes about 10 minutes for great highlights and it makes my hair silky soft. It mixes easy and adds color faster than other Henna products I have used. Its really nice to have the 1 pound size,I can use it more often.

This Is An Amazing Hair Colour And Works Perfectly For Body Art As Well.
Henna Powder Colour Will Be A Bit Different For Everyone, Depending On The Original Hair Colour You Are Putting It On, And Because Of This, It Looks Beautiful If You Have (Natural) Highlights Because You Get A Bunch Of Different Shades Of Red.
To Get The Full Effect Of Henna Hair Colouring, Mix As Much Powder As Needed For The Thickness And Length Of Your Hair (You Can Always Add More. Try Starting With One Cup Powder.) Mix This With Fresh Squeezed Citric Juice (My Favourite To Use Is Grapefruit, But Lemon Works Well Too.), If You Do Not Have Fresh Citrus To Squeeze, You Can Use Vinegar (Your Hair Will Smell Like A Pickle While It Is Dying Though) Or Red Wine. Mix Until A Perfect Consistency, Not Too Runny But Not Thick Like Mud (A Good Consistency Will Look Like Goose Poop And Have The Consistency Close To Brownie Batter). Let The Mixture Sit In A Dark Place Over Night (So The Henna Colour Can Fully...Read more
