I've been a "red head" for as long as I could afford buying my own hair dye. I'm pale and freckled and by all rights I should have been born with flaming red hair but my real hair color is only auburn. I've used every type of red out there as it seems most have come to expect some exotic, crazy red colors from me anyway. I coudn't pass up the price on this (<$5) and, if you're a "red head" like me, you know that you have to be able to dye your own hair otherwise the cost of upkeep with a real beautician would surely make you broke! This is an awesome red but don't be fooled by the "light red" description. This red is bright, I mean BRIGHT red! The good news: everyone will stare, I was told it gave me an "old Hollywood" appeal, it didn't stain my hairline like most other reds do, even as it faded it still look pretty bright. The bad news: roots show instantly (as it borders on more of an unnatural red) and, for some really odd reason, the product gave me sort of a contact dermatitis...Read more

Don't do it!!,

If you care at all about your appearance, do not use this! I'm had strawberry blonde hair (dyed, my original color is dirty blonde) and it turned it soooo red and my bangs were pink! Luckily color oops took it right out! But really, its bad.
