I was pleased with the results I got from using the persian blonde henna. In addition- the instructions in the package were very clear. My natural hair color is a dirty blonde and after years of highlighting my hair is a bit damaged and this henna left my hair shiny for the first time in ages. I did not use heat so I did not see a big color change but was still very satisfied.

I bought this product at my local Whole Foods store but wanted to write a review because I am very pleased with it. I have very dark ash blonde hair, almost brown, but very ashy in tone. I have highlighted for years, but because of damage from bleach and worry about the health effects of the chemicals, I was looking for something more natural, mostly to cover my gray. I tried honey and lemon and neither one did anything at all. I have used this three times and still have enough left for one more use, as I only do my roots. The first time you couldn't really see a difference. The second time I thought the gray was turning blonde but still wasn't totally sure. The third time it was obvious. There is only about 25% grey left now. My bleached highlights are a dark golden blonde, and now my gray roots are a very light blonde mixed with my natural dark ash blonde. I like it better than the bleach highlights. It looks very natural and my hair feels great!
