After months of trying to keep my hair red and drying it out I decided to spring for this pricey natural dye. It doesn't smell great, but it doesn't reek of chemicals like most dyes. My hair is soft and it seems like there is less breakage. However, it really didn't touch my roots, they don't appear to have any red tint to them at all. It added a very coppery-red sheen to my hair on top of whatever red was already there but my drab ash-brown roots are still there. We will see how it lasts before I give up on it completely, I guess it's just too "natural" for me.
