Manic Panic Semi- Permanent Hair Dye Divine Wine

Manic Panic is the only brand of hair dye I've used, but this is the color I keep coming back to. I use it over unbleached medium-brown hair and the result is a great dark magenta color that fades to a more subtle red tint after a few weeks. It took nearly 2 months for the color to vanish completely!

I used a comb to apply the dye and set it with a blow dryer once it was in, then left it for about 2 hours (much longer than the packaged instructions, but I wanted it to last!)I wore gloves and used vaseline on my hairline and ears to keep it off my skin, which made cleaning up easy. There's enough in a jar to use a few times, even on long hair - and I'll definitely be back for more.
