After using multiple brands of henna hair dye over the years with mixed results, I finally found one that I am deeply satisfied with. I really like to achieve a deep, russet red tone for my hair without resorting to chemical dyes, but the other brands I tried never gave me the results I desired. The red that I always ended up with gave off too much of a coppery-blond effect. But Henne definitely lives up to the color it promises on the box. Before dying, my hair was a messy mix of blondish-red with a bit of faded purple, but after applying Henne Mahogany and leaving it for one hour, I was thrilled to discover that it coloured my hair a rich rustic cinnamon red, the perfect shade I'd been wanting for months! It also makes my normally fine hair feel softer and thicker. I'm definitely stocking up on this shade for future uses.
