So according to Loreal dark brown really means medium red brown. Now I have grey and an inch worth of red brown roots. Super Awesome! I have never felt more like a truck stop waitress in my life.

Turned my hair bright red (and not in a good way),

I chose the appropriate Root Rescue for my color - I use Excellence for regular coloring - and looked in the mirror in shock when I was done! It was not "Dark Auburn" in the least- the color was bright red, and the product stained my hair and scalp bright red that would not scrub off, something Excellence never does. Clairol's root touchup product never did this to me. Putting this on was easy, and I loved the applicator, until I got the Bozo the Clown roots.

I am writing this as I sit with half of my roots dyed on my head. I was able to do my top and some of my sides before I ran out. I color my hair often and I know I did not use too much. I should have just bought the box of preference to do my roots but this was cheaper & I had a coupon but now that I have to get another box its gonna cost me more in the long run..UGH!
