I've been using this color off and on for a few years. I find the feria line isn't nearly as drying to my hair as others. My hair feels in great shape when I'm done. I have a hard time keeping color on my hair (with any box or salon color) - my hair wants to turn blonde...even though my hair is brown and the roots come in brown. I use this every 6-8 weeks, but my hair is usually pretty blonde when I do. The color comes out great - no orange tints at all...which is a problem I usually have with other boxes. I will continue to use and stop switching around!

5.0 out of 5 stars Loreal Feria Moonlit Tortoise T53, September 9, 2011

I love this hair color. I've always had problems with my hair looking purple or burgundy when using some other Loreal and Clairol OTC boxed color kits. Also, I have many natural highlights in my hair and other color kits left me with flat color, no highlights. This is literally the first color kit I've used that a) doesn't make my hair super dark, b) doesn't make my hair some unnatural-looking color, and c) keeps my highlights.

I have long, medium brown, naturally curly hair. My hair tends to be somewhat dry, so I have always assumed that my hair "drinks up" hair color and that was why my hair always ended up so horribly dark no matter what kind of brown color I used (light, medium, cool, warm, ash - whatever). Everyone's hair is different, and from the reviews, this color kits doesn't work well for some people, but it's worth a try if you are looking for good, natural color that doesn't flatten out your highlights.

1.0 out of 5 stars Turned my hair orange!!!, May 10, 2011

I have never once had an issue with dying my hair from box color. Picked up the T53 color (cool medium brown). I am a light-medium brown and just wanted to go a few shades darker. After applying this, after 10 minutes I noticed my hair was starting to turn orange!!! I washed it out immediately but the effect had already gotten on my roots :( ..so now im stuck with orange roots and brown hair... NEVER GETTING FERIA AGAIN
