Summary: Nice to find this.... 2010-07-27
Comment: This item is getting hard to find so I was pleased to be able to order it. The only possible problem is that one of the three boxes of color is much older that the other two (I know by the packaging) -- I hope the product will perform as well.

Comment: This provided decent color but seemed a little drying and the conditioner in the box was aweful. Their Excellence brand is better and has better conditioner.

Summary: Salon results for $5 - almsot too good to be true, yet in this case it truly seems to be true 2010-07-03
Comment: L'Oreal Natural Match 7C Dark Ash Blonde
I found this color in a store and just decided to try it on a whim, mainly because I like the concept of no ammonia hair colors and use them exclusively. I was absolutely delighted with the results. The color comes out truly ash, without any brassy or reddish tones, and it lasts through multiple shampooing. During the usual six week interval in-between the coloring I only noticed minimal fading, and the ash tint still seems to be there (compared to other over-the-counter hair colors, which fade lot faster and start showing the yellowish tones much earlier than 6 weeks).
There is a tube of hair conditioner also included in the box, and if used regularly, it does a great job of preserving the original color.
It only takes 30mins to develop the color, it is extremely easy to apply, unlike many other brands.hair does not smell repulsively after the application and the hair comes out with nice natural shine, that (once again) does not go away after first couple of days.
I used to pay $15 for a box of no-ammonia hair color in the past that usually lasted 3-4 weeks at the most before finally washing out, or would spend $60+ for a salon visit.
Compared to this, the $5 price tag for the box of Natural Match sounds almost like `too good to be true', except in this case, it truly does seem to be both good AND true :).

Summary: Natural Match--- off the market now 2010-06-14
Comment: I was very pleased to find this product at amazon.com. L'Oreal for what ever reason has stopped making this product. The new product they have put out does not match this color and I have hair pieces I wear that match this color exactly. I do not know what I will do when the boxes I purchased run out. This is the best hair color I have used to date and it does what it says---natural match. I received this product right on time and it was exactly what I order. I did get 10 boxes and the price was great! I wish L'Oreal would reconsider taking this product off of the market.

Summary: Too bad this product is discontinued 2010-06-04
Comment: The color of Loreal's Natural match "blackest black" develops very fast and the hair is very dark after dying. None of the other brands' natural black matches this item in that they all give a varying degree of red which I don't like.
