L'Oreal Feria Multi-Faceted Shimmering Colour 3X Highlights Permanent Haircolour Gel 55 Cinnamon - Bright Auburn Brown

As I've had gray hair since I was sixteen (and, of course, more now that I'm older), I've been coloring my hair since my twenties. For a long time I used L'Oreal Excellence in Dark Auburn, but like many do-it-yourself hair coloring systems the shade looked flat and obvious. A few years ago a friend of mine raved about Feria, the more upscale hair colorant by L'Oreal, so I decided to give it a try and picked the Cinnamon shade, described as "bright dark auburn." The first thing I immediately noticed was that the kit included a vial of scent, nice and spicy, that did a great job of covering up the ammonia smell found in most hair colorants. So in it went, I waited, rinsed it out, conditioned, rinsed again, and dried it--and literally stood in front of the mirror with my mouth open. It looked FABULOUS. My favorite color of all time. I was literally in tears to realize L'Oreal discontinued this color. I would constantly get compliments and when people realized I colored, would ask the color. Beauticians at salons would even ask me what color this was. One time walking down the street a yell came from a car, "I love your hair color!!! On the bus, everywhere. Constant compliments from total strangers. You can't imagine. And Loreal has discontinued this color. I miss the compliments. I miss my hair color. I wish L'Oreal would bring this one back. My life will never be the same with this product gone. Honestly :(

Love this color and have worn it for several years--always receiving compliments even even being stopped in public and asked for the color brand and name. Yet now I have discovered it has been discontinued--leaving me at a loss.
