Summary: a different alternative 2010-03-11
Comment: Let's all face it! It's all about trying to look younger. I had a beard for almost 18 years and when I cut it (leaving only a mustache) I looked five or six years younger. Slowly the mustache became more and more gray as the years went by and I thought about coloring it. I even bought this product. But I never did go through with it. Instead, I shaved off the 10 year old mustache and to my surprise, everyone is telling me I look younger, again! Now I just have to figure out what to do with my salt and pepper head of hair!

Comment: As a long time user of this, it has been very effective. It seems to have a limited shelf life after opening. Towards the end of the tube, it tends to lose effectiveness.

Summary: Sandy Blond Not Available in Stores 2010-02-20
Comment: I have turned to ordering JfM Sandy Blond Hair/Beard/Mustashe Color from Amazon because Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and Winn Dixie stores in the B'ham, AL area no longer carry this shade of color in their stores. They carry every other color but this one -- mine. Since I have bought many other items from Amazon, I knew I could get free shipping on orders over $25. So I order either two 3 packs of Hair Color, or one each of Hair Color and Beard Color. I use the beard color between hair color apps to cover roots around the edges. The price per box is less than stores this way, but it is definately a larger outlay for hair/sideburn color than buying it is the stores. But if one can't get it in the stores, this is the next best alternitive.

Summary: More play with No Gray 2010-01-30
Comment: My beard went gray early and I was vain enough to keeping fighting this losing battle. This light blonde color is perfect for me and goes on easily. It's not too dramtic a change to be so obvious and lasts for 10-days to 2 weeks. Yes, you will be buying this for the rest of your life or at least until you finally give in to the gray. NEVER!

Summary: Proceed with Caution 2009-12-22
Comment: This product is easy and convenient to use and works quickly with natural results. I must agree with others that at some point after using the product regularly you may develop an allergic reaction (even after a successful skin test). I was lucky and it just made my skin get flushed and reddish for a day or so, however I have heard much worse can occur. I sadly pitched the remaining JFM boxes and have since switched to an all natural henna beard dye which takes longer (about 20-30 min), but looks just as natural and thankfully has absolutely no affect on my face or skin.
If JFM changed the formula to a reasonably stable and less scary version, I'd consider trying it again. Until (if ever) that happens, I will stay FAR AWAY from this product.
