The color was perfect, just a nice copper brown. However, the reason for trying this was to try to avoid the scalp reaction (a slight burning sensation and redness)that I typically get with any hair color I have tried thus far. So if you want to try it for allergy reasons I would suggest visiting the website for a sample for patch testing.
