I have used L'Oreal color pulse before when I was fifteen. I liked it then and enjoyed having purple hair, so I was disappointed when Color Pulse went off the shelves. I was glad to find it here on Amazon, although my color, Chilled Plum, wasn't available at the time, so I settled for Funky Purple. Well... my hair must have been too light for the color to come out as a purple, because instead of purple, I got a nice, burgundy red color. This was still okay since I got all kinds of compliments on it and was attracting attention from second story windows.

I used to use this all the time (before I tried getting a job, lol). I have dark brown hair and it did really well. My hair looked really dark afterward, but in the light you can tell it was purple. It's easy to put on, but also easy to get all over the bathroom (I think I still have a mark on the ceiling in our old house) on the clothes, so make sure to wear old clothes, and your body. It only lasted a month or so, course it all depends on how often you showered. Would totally use it again now that I work from home and don't have to worry about hair color.

I love Color Pulse! I actually emailed the Loreal company and asked why they removed with from the market. They sent a response saying,"The product wasn't high enough in demand to bring it back." -.- DISAPPOINTING! Apparently people want 25 shampoos or permanent :/ Anyways, Funky Purple didn't change my hair purple at all. I put this on my natural light brown hair and the box showed a lighter purple but it turned out burgundy red. I'm still happy with the color but I was hoping for the dark purple I saw in the picture. I guess the people who have darker brown/black hair would get those results. I still love Color Pulse and if you have a darker hair color I'm sure you'll get the purple shown.
