I bought this product after I had my hair colored red two times. Both times I spent over $100 including the cut and the color faded out after a few weeks. Yes, it's red so that does happen but the first time I did a semi at the salon and the second, a permanent. Just not worth the money. I also have to mention that I do not use products that have harmful chemicals or parabens in them because I am highly against such products. Bigen is great because 1. it's cheap, 2. it doesn't have any of these chemicals and 3. the color is beautiful and lasts just as long as the salon color does. I have had a several compliments by complete strangers about my hair color, the CB4 is truly a beautiful shade.

I do have to warn you if you're using this product for the first time though, that the color is intense, and I left it in for a long time in order to take, also for the next two days the color bleeds out in the shower. I don't know why but the color in the end does fade within those...Read more

I used this jet black. I applied in sections with vasoline around my edges. i applied to the clean hair worked it in. It was easy application no dripping, no bad smell which was a plus. Must use with gloves. My hair looked shiny with this product on. I rinsed and conditioned with a moisturizing conditioner. rinsed blow dried. My hair was so shiny after the blow dry. I usually have a problem with dry hair. My hair glistened. My hair is black with a little brown tint. I wanted my hair to be a bold black. The color is bold with a shine.It was so easy to use and good for beginners for color. it worked on my natural afro-american hair!! Will be using again and may try another color! I am happy with the results

I love this product and it does color gray. There are many colors. I use the light copper brown to freshen up my highlights in between hair appointments and it works beautifully but it is semi-permanent and only meant to last through not more than maybe eight or so shampoos. The colors are intense so it probably isn't right for anyone that wants subtle color or the faint of heart. If you just want to cover grey something like loving care is better for this.
